Sarah Scott proved this last weekend that she is no one-hit wonder.

The Wylie East sophomore has qualified for state for the second straight year with a sixth-place finish at the Region 2 meet at Arlington Vandergriff Park. She completed the 2-mile course in 11:35,

Scott earned the regional appearance with a sixth-place finish at the District 10-4A meet on Oct. 27.
