Mickey and Joy Housewright will celebrate their 65^th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Oct. 26. They were married in Rockwall with two of their friends attending them. JoAnne Housewright (now a sister-in-law to them) served as maid of honor, and the late Bob Douthitt served as best man.  The couple continued to make Wylie their home after they were married. Mickey retired from Kraft foods after 35 years of service to the company. They have three daughters, Penny McDonald and son-in-law Brad, Vickie Turner and son-in-law Michael, Sherry Bacher and son-in-law Buddy.  They have two granddaughters, Tiffany Blackstock and Mariah McDonald and a grandson, Drew McDonald.
