The cross country season is rapidly approaching its defining moment, with the last regular meet, Poteet’s Run the Farm, taking place Saturday.
All of the miles logged by cross country athletes since August could be rewarded when they step to the starting line for the Oct. 27 District 10-4A meet at McKinney’s Myers Park. The top three teams and top 10 individual finishers qualify for the Region II meet Nov. 2 at Vandergriff Park.
The Raiders and Pirates, who will both contend at Poteet, checked out separate venues for last week’s contests.
