The Pirates hosted 11 area teams at the Sept. 24 Dustin Rodriguez Run.
Wylie East sophomore Sarah Scott outsprinted a McKinney North runner over the last 100 yards to claim the gold medal.
Scott completed the course that measured 2.11 miles in 12:21.
Teammate Kalynn Blasingame ran a 14:18 and placed 27th overall.
