The cross country season kicked off Sept. 3 for the Pirates and Raiders at the Plano ISD meet and continued with the Sept. 10 Stallion Stampede hosted by North Mesquite at Samuell Farm.
Both teams are set to compete in the Sept. 17 McKinney Boyd Invitational at Myers Park and Sept. 24 Dustin Rodriguez Run at Wylie High School.
Three additional meets are scheduled for October before the District 10-4A meet happens Oct. 27 at Myers Park. The top three teams out of that event advance to the Region II meet at Vandergriff Park in November.
