Winners of the Spooktacular Costume contest held in conjunction with the Wylie Downtown Merchants Association Boo! on Ballard annual trick-or-treating event were:

6 months to 2 years
Fourth – Tyler Gardner, Scratch the Squirrel
Third – Abigail Herke, Peacock
Second – Cason Webb, Rowdy the Cowboy mascot
First – Carson St. John, Future Golfer
 
Pets (all dogs unless otherwise indicated)
Fourth – Bree Bree, the Fly Girl
Third – Perla, Lobster
Second – Coconut, Turtle
First – Touché the Donkey, Indian Chief

3- to 5-year-olds
Fourth – Dante Dean, Clown
Thirrd – Tatum Gehring, Pirate
Second – Riley Hunt, Ghostbuster
First – Patrick Lujan, Max from "Where the Wild Things Are"

6- to 12-year-olds
Third – Cheyenne Stroud, Geisha Girl
Second – Madeleine Fuller, Granny
First – Kayden Rodgers, Taylor Swift 

13 years and up
Fourth – Pam Wells, Eye Candy
Third – Josh Hall, Capt. Jack Sparrow
Second – Cole Wells, Hockey-playing Astronaut
First – Bryson Willis, Man in Shower

The Wylie Downtown Merchants Association’s annual trick-or-treating event, Boo on Ballard, brought costumed characters such as Pebbles and Bam Bam (Avery and Cole Bramlett) to the downtown area last Friday.
