Jerry Sylo, vice president and partner of design and consulting firm JBI Partners (which represents DR Horton homebuilders), and Ron Haynes, president of Hanes Development Company, met in a work session after the councils meeting. They expressed interest in 320 acres of land south of Sachse Road and west of Pleasant Valley, some of which is owned by SW Medical and some of which is in Wylies ETJ and would have to be annexed.
